5 Colorado Wedding Venues You’ll Love!

If you’re planning your Colorado wedding, you probably feel super overwhelmed looking at all of the amazing options for venues in this beautiful state! Are you going to get hitched somewhere in the mountains, with epic views? Or maybe somewhere super hip and fun in Denver?

The options truly are endless, but I wanted to highlight five venues that I have personally worked in the past. These are venues I love, and hopefully these will give you some ideas and inspiration when narrowing down your own wedding venue search!

Planning a Colorado wedding can be challenging, but if you need that insider, local knowledge, I’ve got your back! Let’s make your dream Colorado wedding a reality!

Lionsgate Event Center

The Lionsgate Event Center is in Lafayette, Colorado, which is only 30 minutes north of Denver! I had definitely driven by this hidden gem many times on my way to the Lafayette Flea Market, and I had no idea that this magical place was right off the main road.

What I love about it:

  1. This venue has some of the most unique and stunning ceremony areas. The iconic Chandelier Barn is truly something you have to see to believe, and it makes for a truly stunning indoor option!

  2. The getting ready areas are well lit, and so stylishly furnished!

  3. There are so many options for photos on this property. The iconic yellow truck was especially fun to include in Zulecia and Rudee’s photos!

  4. The staff is wonderful! I loved getting to work with the people at Lionsgate, and hope to work there again many times in the future!

Della Terra Mountain Chateau

Are you looking for a classy setting with mountain vibes at the same time? Look no further than Della Terra! This gorgeous property is right on the border of Rocky Mountain National Park is Estes Park, Colorado.

What I love about it:

  1. Easy access to RMNP if you decide to do photos in the park!

  2. Even if you don’t go to the park, you have plenty of options for gorgeous photos all over the property.

  3. The ceremony location can be indoors or outdoors, and it is really quite stunning either way.

  4. You are the only wedding happening the day you choose, which means you get dedicated attention from the staff, who are all wonderful.

The Barn at Raccoon Creek

The Barn at Raccoon Creek is close to Denver, but definitely feels like it could be nestled away somewhere far away from the city! The property is set back off the main roads, which makes it feel very intimate and private. If you want a barn wedding close to the city, you can't beat it!

What I love about it:

  1. This is a venue that is super accessible for out of town guests with the close proximity to Denver.

  2. The property is gorgeous, and you can even take photos on the golf course with views of the Rocky Mountains!

  3. I loved the getting ready areas of this venue, and your wedding party definitely will too!

  4. The staff here is top notch, and they are so helpful to the couples AND to the vendors!

YMCA of the Rockies

Let’s head back up to Estes Park to the gorgeous YMCA of the Rockies property. This enormous property has several options for indoor and outdoor ceremony spots, and offers lodging on site for guests!

What I love about it:

  1. The Overlook Chapel is a gorgeous outdoor ceremony site that overlooks Rocky Mountain National Park. It really is a stunning option for your Colorado wedding!

  2. The indoor reception spaces are also fantastic! They can accommodate weddings of various sizes to fit exactly what you need.

  3. There are lots of options for photos, especially if you stay in the cabins on site!

  4. Even if you don’t stay on site, you’re super close to Estes Park for fun, dining, and lodging for you and your guests.

The Pines at Genesee

This is a popular venue option for mountain weddings that are still easily accessible from Denver! The drive to the gorgeous Pines at Genesee is short and easy, and you do get to pull off on the iconic i-70 view before making your way to the venue.

What I love about it:

  1. The two outdoor ceremony spots are both gorgeous, and can be decorated in unique ways to match your vision.

  2. They also offer great options for night time shots under the twinkle lights!

  3. The in-house catering is fantastic, and they have a ton of options!

  4. The proximity to Denver is a big plus for a lot of couples who are inviting out of town guests.
