It’s a great day here on the blog as I get to talk about Anna and Matt’s colorful wedding day at Space Annex in Denver!! I’m not only excited as Space Annex is one of my favorite venues in the city, but also because of the amazing wedding day Anna and Matt put together. From the personal details, to the sweet emotional moments, and the endless good times they had with those they love, their wedding day was crafted to perfection and I’m SO excited to be sharing it here! First Look and Private Vows at the Botanic Gardens

My day with Anna and Matt began with their first look in the stunning Cheesman Park, another favorite location of mine in Downtown Denver. This location holds some significance for Anna and Matt though, more than just its pristine beauty. The two live in this area, and it sits right next to the Botanic Gardens which is actually where Matt proposed to Anna! SO much of their time and relationship in Denver revolves around this area, so including it in this moment made it feel all the more special!!

Both Anna and Matt were pretty emotional upon seeing one another for the first time, but these feelings really ramped up when they read their private vows to one another! Such a sweet and tender moment for these two beautiful souls, and all taking place in the this stunning park of Denver. Soon after their private vows Anna and Matt were joined by their family members and wedding parties for some portrait photos before it was time to make our way further into Downtown Denver for their ceremony at Space Annex!!

A Classic Wedding Ceremony at Space Annex Denver

One of the best parts about Space Annex as a wedding venue in Denver is the ease of access to the outdoor ceremony space of the venue. Sitting just outside the venue, and completely enclosed, the space gives ample privacy while also allowing you to enjoy an outdoor ceremony with ease! Even with a little bit of rain, Anna and Matt were able to fully enjoy this space alongside their friends and family, many of which had traveled all the way from Michigan for the celebration. It came as no surprise then to see how everyone reacted to Anna and Matt’s touching wedding ceremony. Rain or shine, their people were here to support and celebrate the love between these two, and that’s exactly what they did!

Following their ceremony was their cocktail hour which made use of both the indoor and outdoor spaces of the venue, but the night was only getting started!!

Their Endlessly Fun Wedding Reception at Space Annex Denver

Aside from the wonderful outdoor space, why did Anna and Matt choose Space Annex for their Denver wedding you might be asking. As it happens, the two fell in love with almost every aspect of the venue. The art that’s found throughout the space, their use of recycled materials, and the overall vibe really spoke to them, plus it’s pretty close to where they live! They knew they could throw a really fun party here, and boy did they!!

Their reception felt like an endless scene from a movie. The energy, the excitement, and the packed dance floor, it all was just SO much fun. There were some subtle details of the day that I especially loved, such as the late night ice cream sandwiches and Michigan shaped cookies as wedding favors, something I encourage for sustainability! In truth though, there are just too many special moments from the night to recount them all here, so I’ll let the photos do the talking and leave the rest of their wedding at Space Annex up to your imagination!!

Anna and Matt’s wedding at Space Annex in Denver is going to be my obsession for a while here, and I’m not at all mad about it!
