Classic Wedding at The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado | Brianna and Chris
Spring is a magical time in Colorado, although a bit unpredictable at times! Sometimes mother nature has your back though and gives you THE perfect conditions for your wedding day. That was the case for Brianna and Chris’ classic wedding at The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado!! They and their guests, practically all of whom were from out of state, were able to experience a spring wedding in Colorado to the fullest. We teetered on the edge of a total downpour throughout the day, giving Brianna and Chris’ wedding day an added dose of excitement!
Brianna and Chris’ Review: “Katie is absolutely amazing- if you need a photographer for your wedding definitely book her! We did our engagement and wedding photos with Katie, which both turned out better than I could have ever imagined. She even gave us a sneak peak of our shots the next day! Being comfortable in front of a camera has always been something that I have struggled with, but Katie made it feel so natural and fun!”
Getting Ready for the Big Day
Something I mention in my venue feature for The Manor House of Littleton, Colorado is how much I love that the venue provides on site getting ready spaces for both wedding parties! It makes the day SO much simpler, and gives the couple a wonderful and beautiful space to prepare and enjoy the company of their loved ones! Both Brianna and Chris enjoyed their mornings to the fullest, Chris played pool with his groomsmen while Brianna popped champagne as she got ready with her bridesmaids!
Brianna’s morning was especially wonderful as she had some incredibly emotional and beautiful first looks with some of her favorite people! It was a clear display of just how much this day meant, not just to Brianna and Chris, but all of their friends and family as well! Needless to say I could NOT wait to see what the rest of the day had in store for us!!
Cloudy Outdoor Wedding Ceremony at The Manor House
With a spring storm overhead, everyone made their way outside for an outdoor ceremony under the overcast. The Manor House of Littleton, Colorado has one of my favorite outdoor wedding ceremony spaces, ever, and combined with the perfect lighting we were treated to for Brianna and Chris’ day things could not have been better, as long as the rain held off for us! Thankfully mother nature was on Brianna and Chris’ side as we were able to fit ALL of their outdoor events into the day!! From their beautiful, emotional, and magical ceremony, to a plethora of portrait photos outside of The Manor House, we were able to do almost everything without a drop of rain falling!
Towards the end of Brianna and Chris’ newlywed portraits we did get a few drops, but thanks to our clear umbrellas we were able to make the most of it! In addition to the beautiful outdoor views, The Manor House’s indoor spaces are a gorgeous alternative, which we did take advantage of just in case things got too sketchy outside.
Party All Night Long
Just like the outdoor ceremony space, the interior of The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado is the ideal location for a celebration amongst loved ones! Brianna and Chris knew this, which is why they went ALL OUT for their reception!! The night began with epic entrances from the wedding parties followed by a choreographed first dance from Brianna and Chris. From there everyone was treated to some delicious food, amazing toasts from friends and family, and first dances with Brianna, Chris, and their parents before the dance floor officially opened!
Brianna and Chris knew that their friends and family were there to celebrate just as hard as they were, which is why they had late night snacks available so everyone could dance their hearts out ALL night long! My favorite late night treat had to be the custom Voodoo Doughnuts of Brianna and Chris, which were a huge hit along with the other snacks!
The newlyweds and I ended the night off with a few evening portraits outside of The Manor House, something I always love to do at this wedding venue in Littleton, Colorado! It gives the couple a chance to grab some fresh air, and is a fantastic way to get some unique portraits for the day!! From there Brianna and Chris ended their wedding in the only reasonable way possible, dancing the night away with their favorite people. I had SO much fun with these two and loved every moment from their day!!
