Boy do I have a fun wedding for you all today!! You may recognize Jessie and Taylor from my 2023 wedding roundup blog because the disco vibes from their wedding day are simply iconic! These two put so much thought and effort into creating a unique wedding day with one central focus, being as fun as possible. To say these two succeeded with flying colors would be a MASSIVE understatement! Their wedding celebration at Upper Larimer in Denver certainly was a party like none other and, I can’t wait to relive it with you today!!

Getting Ready and Their First Look

Their wedding day started off at their venue, with Jessie getting ready with her gals in Upper Larimer’s getting ready suite while Taylor and his guys met at the outdoor sun deck. Having a majority of their wedding day take place at their venue made their day simple and stress free, the perfect way to start the day! Once ready Jessie had a first look with her bridesmaids who really brought out the hype for her! Both Jessie and Taylor each then had an individual “first look” with their pup which was SO cute, but before long it was time for the real deal, their first look.

The two then met up outside of Upper Larimer for their first look and WOW was it special!! Taylor immediately was overcome with emotion upon seeing Jessie in her dress for the first time! The red brick walls of Upper Larimer acted as the perfect backdrop for their first look. Afterwards we had time for portraits with the fam, with their wedding parties, and with their pupper before we took to the streets of Denver for some final couples portraits before the ceremony!!

Their Indoor Wedding Ceremony at Upper Larimer

Upper Larimer is a stunning wedding venue, inside and out! The gorgeous red brick walls that make up the indoor space are wonderful, and there is PLENTY of natural light to enjoy! Jessie and Taylor’s ceremony felt like something out of a movie in this beautiful space, especially with all of the happy tears being shed throughout! After their ceremony was their cocktail hour, which took place at Upper Larimer’s outdoor sun deck. This cool private space was perfect for the occasion, and with their portraits done early Jessie and Taylor were able to mingle and enjoy the cocktail hour with their guests!

Epic Disco Reception

We’re now getting into my favorite portion of Jessie and Taylor’s wedding day, their disco themed reception! The two wasted NO time getting things started, kicking the evening off with a dance party under the disco balls right after cocktail hour! After the initial hype it was then time to slow things down with some delicious food courtesy of Jessie and Taylor’s incredible vendor team. They chose to have different food stations, each with their own theme throughout the reception space which was such a fun twist! From there it was on to speeches before Jessie and Taylor’s romantic first dance with one another. The two shared this intimate moment under a collage of disco balls before opening up the dance floor for their guests.

The dance floor was PACKED from the start! Jessie and Taylor really wanted to make their wedding feel like a party and they definitely succeeded. Later in the evening Jessie had an EPIC outfit change into her 2nd dress which practically looked like a disco ball itself! As if that wasn’t enough, a surprise saxophonist came in to jazz things up!! Safe to say their wedding reception at Upper Larimer was a certified hit, there was just one thing left to do though. To end the night we headed out into the streets of Denver for some night portraits. Talk about a picture perfect end to a one of a kind wedding!!

I cannot get over Jessie and Taylor’s wedding day at Upper Larimer, and honestly I don’t ever want to! This wedding was like nothing I'd ever experienced and I am SO happy these two chose me to capture their day!!
