Winter elopements in Colorado aren’t as popular as fall elopements, but I personally think they are severely underrated!! And Becca and Davis took advantage of the beautiful snowy mountains to elope in style.
Becca and Davis actually found me on TikTok of all places, one week before they decided to elope in Colorado while their family was in Winter Park for an annual ski trip! They were so tired of delaying their wedding due to COVID, that they decided to make things official while they were surrounded by family in the beautiful, snowy Rocky Mountains! It was so amazing to help them pull this elopement together in less than a week.
We found a quiet spot outside of Winter Park Resort to have the ceremony in a few inches of fresh powder. Winter Park was a perfect place for this epic winter elopement! Even though Becca actually hurt her knee skiing the morning of the ceremony, she was a champ and walked down the aisle with her dad. The most special thing to me about their ceremony was that their Poppy officiated!
Both Becca and Davis were troopers in the cold and the snow afterwards for their portraits! No snow or knee injury would stop us from frolicking in the snow to celebrate these two officially tying the knot. I am SO thrilled that I got to be part of such a special moment for these two and their families!
