Lovely Summer Wedding at Moss Denver | Sam and Connor — Colorado Wedding and Elopement Photographer

Denver is home to some fabulous wedding venues, and today’s wedding takes place at a newer favorite of mine! Moss Denver is where Sam and Connor chose to have their wedding day, and WOW was it the perfect space for their epic celebration! From the amazing décor, to all the incredible moments and details that these two included into their day, there is just so much that I love about this summer wedding. Sam and Connor had just recently moved to Colorado prior to their wedding, so having all their friends and family here to celebrate this incredible milestone in their lives meant the world to them. It also made for one heck of a party!!

Getting Ready at The Monaco Hotel in Denver

Prior to their wedding festivities at Moss Denver, Sam and Connor chose to start their day at the nearby Monaco Hotel. The luxurious, comfortable, and stylish hotel proved to be an excellent space for these two to get ready in! Thanks to the abundance of natural light, the close proximity to the venue, and the overall feel of the hotel itself, Sam and Connor were able to prep in style along with their friends and family!! Take note of the subtle nods to the fandoms incorporated in both Sam and Connor’s outfits. Sam’s dress was a stunning Cinderella inspired piece from The Bridal Collection, while Connor wore some awesome Spiderman socks and had a quote from the movies inside his jacket!

Next it was time for Sam and Connor’s first look. With Sam in her Cinderella dress and Connor decked out in his bright red suit, the two met up in their room at the Monaco Hotel for this special moment. I love first looks for SO many reasons, and one of those is the immense joy when the couple sees one another! It’s such a beautiful, special moment to document, and even more so for the couple to experience. After Sam and Connor had this time together, we were then able to document some couples portraits before making our way to Moss Denver for the wedding ceremony!!

A Beautiful Wedding Ceremony at Moss Denver

Moss Denver has one of THE coolest interiors of any wedding venue in the city. The multiple spaces combine a classic industrial feel with modern amenities to provide a completely unique experience, and it's all tied together with these gorgeous decorative moss walls that give the venue its namesake! I couldn’t imagine a more wonderful setting for Sam and Connor to celebrate their love with all of their friends and family!!

There was a tangible feeling of love in the air during the actual wedding ceremony. With practically everyone having traveled from out of state for Sam and Connor’s wedding, excitement was sky high throughout the day! Nobody was more excited than Sam and Connor though, who even having done a first look still were radiating joy as they saw one another for the first time during the ceremony! These two are some of the most fun, pure, and hilarious couples that I’ve had the pleasure to document, and their ceremony was the perfect kick off for the rest of the day’s festivities!!

Portraits, Party, and PLENTY of Dancing for Their Wedding at Moss Denver

Immediately after their wedding ceremony, Sam, Connor, and I had the opportunity to take some portrait photos using the beautiful exterior of Moss Denver. This, along with the charming streets of Denver, provided the perfect backdrop for these portraits and allowed us to knock them out quickly so that Sam and Connor could get back to the party!! They caught the tail end of cocktail hour, which allowed Sam and Connor to really enjoy some slower time with their friends and family. Their reception then began in the Chandelier Room, where they got to enjoy some delicious food, lovely speeches, and time with their loved ones before heading back to the ceremony space for a night of dancing!

It’s this space that I feel Moss Denver truly shines as it is just GORGEOUS at night. The string lights and mirrored ceiling sparkle so beautifully at night, and it makes for a legitimately magical setting to dance the night away under! Sam, Connor, and I ventured outside once more for some late night portraits to end the day with a special moment for just the two of them.

I adore absolutely everything from Sam and Connor’s wedding at Moss Denver! From small details like the book table numbers and custom newspaper programs, to the big moments like their incredible first dance, it was the perfect celebration of the love between these two amazing people!!
