Snowy Sapphire Point Engagement Session

This might be one of the most unique and fun engagement sessions I have shot to date. Why? Kelsey and Diego brought along their adorable KITTEN to their session!! Vaquita Patitas (translates to Little Cow) is already getting used to be an adventure cat, so she really enjoyed herself during our session. And it was a great bonus for me to snuggle with a kitten in the car on the way up and on the way home! I am a crazy cat lady, after all.

Kelsey is from Wisconsin, and Diego is from Mexico. Since they’re getting married here in colorful Colorado, they really wanted a spot that captured that amazing essence of the Centennial state! That’s why we chose Sapphire Point Overlook: amazing views and classic Colorado mountain views.

Unfortunately for us, the views were a little bit limited because of the unexpected snowstorm we drove into. That said, I love shooting in the snow and Kelsey and Diego were such troopers! While we didn’t have quite the views we were anticipating, it was still beautiful and truly Colorado. We still got some magical shots!

Even though we had to struggle home on i70 in the snow (which is the most Colorado thing to do, if you know, you know), we still had an amazing snowy engagement session. Shout out to Diego for driving and getting us all back safe and sound! It was so much fun, and I am so excited to capture their wedding day in August!

Are you ready to plan your epic Colorado engagement session? I got you!
