Spring Wedding at The Manor House in Littleton, Colorado | Kayla and Chris

My 2024 weddings started off on an incredibly high note thanks to Kayla and Chris’ spring wedding at The Manor House! This isn’t the first time the Littleton, Colorado wedding venue has been on my blog, as I’ve written an entire feature piece about this spectacular venue. Today’s article is different though as I get to share with you all some of the many highlights from one of my favorite wedding celebrations to date!! Kayla and Chris’ day was beautiful, emotional, and so special from start to finish. Even with mother nature throwing some pretty crazy weather our way, we enjoyed the day to the fullest and I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together!!

Getting Ready for Their Wedding in The Manor House

One of the many things I adore about The Manor House as a wedding venue are the dedicated getting ready spaces on site, something that both Kayla and Chris took advantage of the morning of their wedding day! The two started the day off on the right foot, getting ready in the company of their friends and family. This meant that not only were they both having the best time from the very start of the day, but they also didn’t have to worry about ANY travel arrangements for their wedding day!

After Kayla was ready in her wedding dress she had a first look with her father who had THE biggest smile on his face once he saw her! Next came her first look with Chris who was immediately overcome with emotion. It was a beautiful moment, but the real waterworks came shortly after when both Kayla and Chris shared their private vows with one another. They cried, they laughed, but most importantly they were able to spend a little time together prior to the day getting fully underway! This intimate moment allowed them both to relax together, grounding one another so that they could fully enjoy the excitement of their wedding day!!

A Ceremony and Outdoor Portraits

After Kayla and Chris’ first look we had a bit of time before their ceremony was set to start, so we opted to knock out all of the wedding party and family portraits during this time. This worked out so wonderfully as it gave us SO much freedom in their timeline for the rest of the day!! Soon though it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin, so we made our way into the gorgeous indoor space of The Manor House. This lovely open space has a simple and elegant beauty to it, with its white walls contrasted by the exposed wooden beams of the ceiling, a truly stunning setting for a wedding! The ceremony itself was beautiful and emotional, though not without a few hilarious moments such as the best man having to make a quick phone call as he ‘lost’ the ring!

Soon though Kayla and Chris were officially newlyweds which meant it was time for portraits!! This is where that interesting Colorado weather I mentioned earlier came into play. You see, on the day of Kayla and Chris’ wedding we were seeing winds with speeds ranging from 50mph to 80mph! It got so bad that there were even some power outages throughout the Denver area!! That didn’t slow us down one bit though, and honestly it was pretty fun braving the winds with Kayla and Chris for some outdoor wedding portraits at The Manor House. Another fantastic aspect of The Manor House though is that it’s strikingly beautiful both inside and out, meaning that we were able to take a fair share of newlywed portraits indoors! This gave Kayla and Chris’ wedding album another layer of depth, and also let us take some much needed breaks from the intense winds!

Celebrating Their Wedding at The Manor House

Following our outdoor expedition for the newlywed portraits was the low-key cocktail hour. The Manor House has a cozy and homey atmosphere for its cocktail hour space, making the time feel SO intimate and personal! Kayla and Chris were both able to enjoy their time mingling with all their loved ones prior to the evening’s festivities fully getting underway. Once the indoor ceremony space was swapped for their reception it was time to get the party started!

After making their entrance and sharing their first dance together, Kayla and Chris made a point to walk around to ALL of their guest’s tables. You can really tell just how much their people mean to them, and how special it was to have everyone there celebrating their love. And celebrate they did! Hilarious speeches, cake fighting, emotional first dances, and an evening of endless dancing made their wedding reception at The Manor House an all out party from beginning to end!!

I honestly couldn’t be happier that Kayla and Chris’ wedding at The Manor House was my first wedding of 2024! These two crafted an incredible celebration, one perfectly fit for their one of a kind love, and I’m so glad to have such a wonderful experience as the catalyst for 2024!!
