I’m always insanely grateful for the chance to work with couples like Natalia and Zach: full of the truest love for each other, a great sense of humor, and just so clearly meant to be together. I knew all of these about Natalia and Zach after their wonderful engagement/family session, which only made me more excited to shoot their beautiful September wedding!
It’s always a pleasure to get to work with couples like this, but it’s even more special when I know one half of the family! I grew up hanging out with Natalia and her maid of honor (and cousin), Anya, since our moms were all in book club together. One year for Anya’s birthday, Natalia and I were partners in her Amazing Race scavenger hunt!
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful September day in Colorado. The Pines at Genesee was such a fabulous venue, from the beautiful wedding terrace to the perfect reception space. Natalia was a truly stunning bride, with such an elegant and classy dress! Also, did I mention that Natalia chose the same blue and sunflower theme that I’ve always been in love with?! Great minds think alike!
The ceremony was a very touching, emotional moment where Natalia and Zach truly blended their two families into one. Following this, we had some wonderful light for some amazing mountain portraits! And of course, what wedding is complete without dancing the night away to songs like “Don’t Stop Believin”, “September”, and the “Cha-Cha Slide”?
