Intimate Elopement in the Mountains of Dillon, Colorado | Deanna and Pauly — Colorado Wedding and Elopement Photographer

I'm sooooo stoked to share Deanna and Pauly's Colorado mountain elopement on the blog. The goal for Deanna and Pauly’s elopement was to balance ease of mind with the sheer awesomeness that is the landscape of the Colorado mountains. Safe to say we pulled their day off with FLYING colors and were able to create a one-of-a-kind elopement experience for these two! Pauly and Dee came alllll the way from Ohio to exchange their vows and it was absolutely perfect!

Starting Their Colorado Elopement Right

To kick off their wedding day Deanna and Pauly both got ready separately at their hotel room. Once they were both ready it was time for a quick first look which was SUCH an emotional way to start the day! Their elopement took place in the mountains of Loveland Pass in Dillon Colorado, so needless to say we had to fuel up before our hike. Deanna and Pauley did so with a slice of cake and a shot of tequila, the perfect fuel for the rest of our day! In all seriousness though we did actually eat and hydrate before the hike.

Hiking Up The Colorado Mountain

As we prepped to head out on our hike both Deanna and Pauly put on their hiking boots while in their wedding attire which is SUCH a vibe! Something I love about elopements is how personal and unique each couple can make them, it gives them that one-of-a-kind feel that makes for an awesome experience. Once dressed and ready we began our hike up the mountains of Dillon Colorado toward their elopement location.

Deanna and Pauley are from out of state, so when booking their elopement with me they were looking for something with the grand mountain views Colorado is famous for while also keeping things nice and accessible. Loveland Pass was the perfect fit for their needs and from their review it sounds like they agree! “She brought us to the most amazing spot that was exactly what we were looking for. She had so many great ideas and was able to take the most amazing photos!! We can not recommend her enough!”

Their Elopement and Portraits

After a while we arrived at the location for their elopement ceremony, completely surrounded by the mountains of Dillon Colorado. Deanna and Pauly both read their vows to one another and then it was time for some newlywed portraits! The landscape of Loveland Pass is seriously next level, and combined with the stunning sunset we got for their elopement day we really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful backdrop!! We had plenty of time for a TON of portraits, and once those were through it was time to make our way down the mountain. To finish their elopement adventure Deanna and Pauly signed their marriage papers on each other's backs which was just the cutest final detail on a perfect elopement day in the mountains of Colorado!

I honestly cannot get over Deanna and Pauly’s elopement and how perfect it was for these two. One of the best parts of Colorado adventure elopements is the epic views that are also accessible.
