LGBTQ+ Elopement Garden of the Gods — Colorado Wedding and Elopement Photographer

Jenna and Francine’s LGBTQ+ elopement at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs was the PERFECT way to start 2023!! These two came all the way from Texas in January for their elopement, and when I asked them why they chose Colorado this was their response. “We are inspired by the beauty of Colorado and GOTGs and that was definitely a big reason we chose our elopement there." They couldn’t have chosen a better location, and once you see their album I’m sure you’ll agree!

Their LGBTQ+ Elopement at Garden of the Gods

Both Jenna and Francine got ready for their elopement at an Airbnb in Colorado Springs. Having this space to get ready in so close to Garden of the Gods was SO nice for both Jenna and Francine as it kept their travel time to a minimum for their elopement! Once ready Jenna and Francine did a first touch followed by a first look which was oh so sweet! They each facetimed some of their family members before heading out for their LGBTQ+ elopement ceremony at Garden of the Gods.

Even though Colorado allows self solemnization, Jenna and Francine wanted their best friend there with them to officiate their ceremony. It meant so much to both of them and made their already wonderful elopement just that much more special. The two celebrated their LGBTQ+ elopement ceremony surrounded by the majesty that is the Garden of the Gods landscape! Once finished we had plenty of time for portraits which we were all SO excited for!!

If you know me, you know that I am the QUEEN of saying “one more shot,” and then proceeding to take 30 more photos. When it comes to a landscape as beautiful as Garden of the Gods though inspiration is going to strike multiple times!! Lucky for me both Jenna and Francine were so elated after their LGBTQ+ elopement that they were game for ALL the inspiration and backdrops that the Garden of the Gods was handing to us. We ended up with SO many different portraits, and of course finished the day off with Jenna and Francine signing their wedding paperwork on one another’s backs!

I’m so happy to have been able to capture Jenna and Francine’s LGBTQ+ elopement at the Garden of the Gods. These two share such a pure and incredible love, being able to photograph it and preserve this special moment in their lives was an amazing experience.
