Summer Wedding at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado | Tina and Tommy

Tina and Tommy’s wedding celebration was full of THE best vibes. From their welcome dinner the day before, through the last song the night of their reception, every moment felt so special and SO wonderful! Their wedding took place at Lake View at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado, which is also one of my all time favorite venues in the state. There’s so much to love about their day, so let's not waste any more time and get right into it!!

Welcome Dinner and Getting Ready

As I mentioned earlier, the wonderful vibes of Tina and Tommy’s wedding day began even before the day itself! The two hosted a lovely welcome dinner at the Glen Isle Dining Room. I absolutely ADORE when my couples book me for moments like these. Welcome dinners or rehearsal dinners give the couple a chance to spend real time with their loved ones, without the stress and pressure of the wedding day on them yet. Being able to document these interactions is always such a treat, and it really adds to the overall feel of the wedding album!

The day of Tina and Tommy’s wedding began slowly, with the two getting ready in the company of their wedding parties at the venue. The simple start to the day meant that Tina and Tommy were able to genuinely enjoy themselves as they laughed and shared drinks with their friends and family. As the moment drew closer, it was time to make their way out onto the Lake View deck where their ceremony would take place! With the countryside of Pine, Colorado as their backdrop, the two were ready to start their amazing wedding day at Mountain View Ranch!!

Their Outdoor Ceremony at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado

One of the many different aspects I love about Tina and Tommy’s wedding are the unique ways the two intentionally made the day more personal to them. As an example, Tina and Tommy actually met while in a mariachi band in college, so it was only fitting that they chose to have one as a part of their wedding ceremony! I’m a little obsessed, as this fun twist was such a great way to really make the wedding ceremony feel authentic to Tina and Tommy’s story! The ceremony itself was one of beautifully authentic emotion, with multiple instances of happy tears being shed. Documenting this incredible moment in a space as breathtaking as Mountain View Ranch in the Pine, Colorado countryside is exactly why I love being a wedding photographer.

Immediately following Tina and Tommy’s ceremony was our window of opportunity for portrait photos. Using the incredible setting and backdrop of Mountain View Ranch, we were able to knock out family, wedding party, and newlywed portraits all one after the other! We had a few special guests make an appearance for these photos, namely the beverage burros from Rocky Mountain Beverage Burro! To any couple planning a wedding in Colorado, I highly recommend booking the beverage burros for your event because they’re always a hit!!

Endless Dancing at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado

After their romantic and beautiful outdoor ceremony, it was time to head indoors for the reception! Another personal detail that Tina and Tommy included into their day that I love was the painted bird centerpieces that their friend made for their tables. Each custom painting included a notable sighting as Tina and Tommy love to go birdwatching together! The reception took place in the indoor space of Mountain View Ranch, and this spacious area provided the perfect setting for the evening's festivities. From the lovely first dance they shared during their entrance, to their packed dance floor that stayed popping the entire night, it was an unforgettable celebration! The only thing left to do was to head out into the mountainous landscape of Pine, Colorado for some sunset portraits which were just a short walk away from Mountain View Ranch!

Weddings at Mountain View Ranch in Pine, Colorado are always spectacular, and this beautiful day is no exception! I had SO much fun with Tina, Tommy, and their loved ones, and I’m overjoyed that these two chose me to document their day!!
