“Katie is beyond just a photographer... She is an artist, a wedding planner, a travel agent, an entertainer, and an incredibly hard worker. Not only did she exceed my expectations for our intimate elopement but her work is amazing and turn over time is fast! I’d give her professionalism more than five stars if I could. Hands down, the best photographer I have hired yet!”

-Miranda and Randy

Miranda and Randy flew all the way out to Colorado from Georgia so that they could have an epic sunrise elopement in the mountains. And Colorado sure did not disappoint with the sunrise we had to celebrate their marriage!

Miranda was also the DIY queen, and she really proved that you can have a picture-perfect day on a budget. Her incredible bouquet was put together from grocery store flowers, and she made her adorable denim jacket cutouts with a cricut!

Did you know that in Colorado, you actually can marry yourself? This is called self-solemnization, which means you and bae can seal the deal without any witnesses necessary. All you need to do is get your marriage license from the county clerk and recorders office, perform your vows, and then sign and return your license! If you need help planning your self-solemnizing elopement, reach out to me here!

These are some of my favorite shots from this amazing morning. Miranda and Randy, I was so happy to be a part of your day!
