Why I Love Wedding Venues with Lodging

As a wedding and elopement photographer in Colorado, I’m always encouraging my couples (and couples here on the blog) to celebrate their love in a way that’s true to them. In addition to this, I also help to ensure that my couples have their bases covered in terms of the logistics of a destination wedding. Why is this important? Because wedding venues with lodging help with both of these areas!!

Many couples find that they don’t get to spend nearly enough time as they’d want with their loved ones on their wedding day. An easy way to ensure that you’ll spend more time with your friends and family is by having ALL of your favorite people stay at the same spot as you! It also allows you to rest easy knowing that all, or the majority, of your guests will be able to easily find lodging options for your big day. It’s a win-win, which is why I can’t wait to share my 10 favorite venues that offer lodging options with you!!

Some Quick Tips

Those are 10 of my favorite wedding venues with lodging in the mountains of Colorado! There are of course PLENTY of other options we weren’t able to cover in this article, so if none of these really caught your attention there’s no need to worry. When searching for venues that fit this criteria I recommend continuing your search through the wide range of Ski Resorts that can be found throughout Colorado! These resorts usually have a ton of amazing lodging options at their base, and typically will include some sort of wedding ceremony site with scenic views.

Another route you can take is choosing a venue in a more popular tourist destination like Boulder or Breckenridge which feature a TON of lodging options throughout them. This gives you and your guests a ton of variety to work with to accommodate every budget and preference around!! For more Colorado wedding planning tips be sure to check out some of my other articles on the blog. If you’re interested in having me document your day you can send me an inquiry through my contact page, and we can start planning your dream wedding together ASAP!!
